So I contacted the support center. My account is eligible for reactivation and my character still exists. So good news.
Bad news. I bought FFXI digital download last night. I got an error message halfway saying that the file doesn't exist on their server. I e-mailed them. According to the support center, I have to go through SE and I can only contact them through e-mail. No reply thus far.
So until I find a physical copy (no gamestop in Hawaii has one, I checked), I'm kinda just… hoping.
Well, since you really only need the content ID's to show you legitimately purchased it (which you should still have access to through Steam or w/e you used to buy it), you could just find a torrent site that has the game files for DL and get it that way, then use the content ID's from your purchased digital copy.
o shit… I owe you a lot of back allowance….. and you have a new daddy. He's a lolvaan. I hope this isn't too much of a shock. Especially since he doesn't know yet!

I got into my SE account and my services are active. All I need is a physical copy of FFXI so I can install and fully update. I still need to purchase Abyssea, but I technically did from the digital copy so…
SE also got back to me about my download error. They blamed my firewall, antivirus, download manager, and internet browser. Then they game me a link to the same downloader, which I downloaded again. Then I followed their baby steps and tried again, but same error.
I then e-mailed back explaining how the error was based on their downloading program or their server error because (as I explained in my original e-mail to them) I was able to download 56% of the ffxi batches (4 batches, first 2 went fine).

So hopefully they will give me a better answer tomorrow or fix their downloader or whatever because customer service is closed on the weekend so… well fuck lol
