Movies

Noteworthy (good and bad) titles dug up in imdb. More sweetness than shit fortunately.

• Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 - lolwtf!? i didnt know that existed. Meh will only please gundam fans.

MMOs

A lot is comming this year and next. Mostly from Korea. NCsoft is on fire.

• TERA - Non taget based mmo. Maybe this is a new genre that will make it big.

• Blade & Soul - Visually eye gouging, however the boob slider goes a bit too far (Yea i said it). Incorporating fighting game mechanics and playable with a game pad makes me believe NCsoft will leave the hardcore pvp and grinding to aion and focus more on story and pve as the director commented. Should release on PS3/Xbox as well and supports my previous theory.

• Diablo 3 - I've heard rumors blizzard is giving some closed beta codes. Maybe we're gonna see it this year. I hope its gonna bring new stuff into the genre and not just reheated mechanics other games have already drilled through.

I've listed what made my raise an eyebrow. Good or bad. Go ahead and grow the list. There is a lot of stuff i didnt list. You guys have any plans for all these title ?

Launching a week from Monday!

Diablo 3 is almost assuredly in an internal alpha now. If it follows suit anything like SC2 did I would expect to see beta announcements possibly in the next couple of months with somewhere around a June start date.

Also, I giggled that this list put a date on the next part of SC2. You won't even get a date for that until like a month(two tops) before it's ready to launch. They had a press release a little while back with a release slated for the end of this year and another for Q1 of next year. Assumingly those will be D3 and Heart of the Swarm. But as we all know and love with Blizzard, we won't know anything until they're ready.

Aside from Portal 2 those are honestly the only things on that list I'm interested in. I played Guild Wars a lot when it was released, and I'll more than likely pick up GW2 when it comes out.

PS. Dec 31st is a Saturday, and aside from that, it would be an absolutely atrocious day to launch any title. I'm sure you knew those were just placeholder dates though.

I am not that excited about D3. Even if i played D2 like crazy. I dont know why.

Blade and Soul looks like it could have some cool game mechanics, and I am really looking forward to D3. But you know what I'm waiting for more than anything else?
