Toilet paper purchase is also strictly a Mom thing, because if left to the average Dad, he will invariably buy the cheapest stuff. When children complain of the sandpaper like texture and it's tendency to be thinner than most tissues, Dad replies "It builds character." This is why Dads should not be left in charge.
